Anytime a company offers services or products priced significantly lower than normal they have to modify the service or product to maintain profit margins.
Candidate Sourcing is a budget program. It is designed as an intermediate step between Securemploy Pinpoint Ads or classified ads, and full blown executive search or placement. Ferree & Associates, Inc., to our knowledge, is the only professional search and placement firm serving the Hospitality industry that has come up with cost effective alternatives to our traditional services.
Sure, when times get tough, lots of placement firms will negotiate their fees. What they don't tell you is the steps they are going to eliminate so they maintain their profit margins. When hotels reduce their room rates substantially they also cut back on staff and amenities so they can maintain their profit margins. Professional search and placement firms do the same thing to maintain our industry wide 18% profit margin on full blown assignments.
Right now, professional search and placement firms have more business than they can handle, they definitely are not cutting their fees. We at least are telling you, up-front, what we do and don't do. We want you to make the best decision for your company, i.e., Securemploy Pinpoint Ads, Candidate Sourcing, the services of Ferree & Associates, Inc., our Executive Search and Placement Division, or another option of your choosing.
- Securemploy Researchers do not do reference checks, background investigations, credit checks or verify information on resumes. These are your responsibilities.
- There is no guarantee under the Candidate Sourcing program. Full blown search and placement assignments successfully completed by Ferree & Associates, Inc. carry a 120 day replacement guarantee. Again, Candidate Sourcing is a budget program and we can not offer a guarantee.
- Candidate Sourcing is a finite program. If a client changes directions several times during the search we may complete our obligations under the program without filling your position. In that case you would either need to start the process over or choose another alternative. So far this has never happened in the three years we have offered this program. Since it is a possibility, we feel obligated to point out the possibility. As a matter of fact, there have only been two assignments that Candidate Sourcing has not filled in the last two years. One position was canceled by the client. The second position an over-qualified candidate moved to the small city and walked through the clients front door.
- Securemploy reserves the right to limit or turn down potential assignments brought to Candidate Sourcing. We do refuse many assignments. Candidate Sourcing works for us when we can quickly and effectively recruit candidates for a position. Unique, one of a kind positions, or positions with very complex requirements will not provide us a profit margin, so we don't accept them. Remember, you only pay us if we accept your assignment. Securemploy has also found that Candidate Sourcing is simply not effective for certain positions.
